Ghent Chapter visit to meet Peak riders
15th August to 18th August
Friday 15th
Ghent chapter will arrive in Chesterfield at about 2.30pm.
At 3.30pm Arrangements have been made for The Lord Major to meet and greet them at the Town hall for a civic reception (Posh or what) Peak rider members are welcome please join in. Please be outside the town hall by 3.30pm.
Friday evening the
Belgian’s
wish to have Fish and Chips, (The British way) so John & Margaret have arranged
for a visit to Cromford for fish and chips in paper. Peak riders and
Ghent
chapter, meet at Ibis hotel Chesterfield
6.30pm. Return ride will be through
Matlock and Chatsworth. All Peak Riders are invited.
Saturday 16th
Ghent chapter will arrive at Harleyworld at
10.00am. for a ride out with
Peak riders to
Holmfirth and a Lunch stop at Derwent lady bower, the plan is to return
Ghent chapter to Ibis at
5pm. The evening has been arranged
for Peak riders and
Ghent to have a meal together in
Chesterfield
starting at 8.00pm (Booking for meal is essential please confirm with John White by
phone or by posting on web site) The meal is £20.00 each for 3 courses inc some
wine.
Sunday 17th
Peak riders and Ghent ride out leaving Harleyworld 10.30am Route will be taking
in many of the sights of the Peak district with a Lunch time stop of 2 hours at
Buxton. Returning to
Chesterfield
4.30pm.
Monday 18th
Ghent chapter leave for home, Hopefully having met many peak riders, and new friends.
